Meet Cheryl
For me, pursuing a counseling degree after retiring from the University of Louisiana as the Associate Dean of Students was a natural progression. I had grown to love working with our students, helping them, encouraging them. A degree in counseling gave me the skills to develop what I already had a passion for.
After 20 years of work as a therapist at Bienvenu Counseling, I couldn’t be more enthusiastic or optimistic about the calling that is on my life.
Individual Counseling
A clinical approach to personal growth and healing including issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma recovery.
Marriage/Couple Counseling
Counseling designed to address distress in couples and facilitate secure lasting bonds, security and connection.
Spiritual Direction/Healing Prayer
A unique opportunity to incorporate Christian mentorship as a component of growth and guidance. A combined approach of spiritual leadership and instructing client’s in healing prayer.
